Domino's Pizza Provides Free Pizzas to Children's Cafes Supported by Primary Industries

Domino's Pizza Helps Children's Cafes with Free Pizza

Domino's Pizza Japan, led by CEO Dieter Haebel, announced a generous initiative aimed at spreading joy through food. From May 18 to May 31, 2026, the company provided free pizzas to 15 children's cafes that support primary industries in Japan. This donation was facilitated through their Direct Domino Fund, which was established in April 2022 to contribute to the development of Japan's present and future by focusing on food, an essential part of daily life.

Domino's Pizza has made significant contributions to organizations involved in agricultural, forestry, and fishery sectors, donating over 14 million yen in grants since the fund's inception. The 2026 initiative marks a broader effort to directly support children's cafes that work with primary industries in their communities. During this period, 230 large pizzas, including varieties like Domino's Deluxe, American, Margherita, and Mayo Potato, totaling 865 servings, were provided to children in need.

Since the inception of the Direct Domino Fund, Domino's Pizza has been committed to actively supporting various initiatives aimed at improving health, education, and food security for future generations in Japan. The company encourages customer participation in its fundraising efforts through a rounding-up donation program, where customers can voluntarily contribute spare change from their orders, starting in May 2023. Each purchase of their Direct Domino Quattro pizza also contributes 10 yen towards the fund.
