LX Pantos Accelerates Global Expansion with Major Acquisition in Poland

On March 16, 2026, LX Pantos, a notable global logistics player led by Global CEO Lee Yong-ho, announced its significant acquisition of a logistics center in Katowice, Poland. This move underscores the company's commitment to broadening its operational reach and capabilities in Europe.

The newly acquired logistics complex, worth approximately $148 million, spans five buildings with a total floor area of 109,000 square meters. The center is designed to be developed and operationalized in phases, with complete delivery expected by the first half of 2026. The facility has already secured several rental agreements with both international and local companies, indicating strong market interest.

LX Pantos aims to position the Katowice Logistics Center as a pivotal hub for logistics in Eastern Europe, focusing on essential sectors such as auto parts, consumer goods, and household appliances. Importantly, this facility is also anticipated to serve as a logistical base to meet the increasing demands arising from reconstruction efforts in Ukraine, once those initiatives commence.

In addition to this strategic European expansion, the company is vigorously strengthening its operations in other key markets, including the United States and Asia. In the U.S., LX Pantos established Boxlinks LLC, a joint venture with Ocean Network Express (ONE). Recently, it also acquired a significant logistics facility in Georgia, covering a vast area of 304,769 square meters, equivalent to approximately 43 football fields. This strategic move is aimed at bolstering its intermodal operations.

Further to the north in Asia, LX Pantos has launched FutureLinks in collaboration with Sinotrans to enhance multimodal transport between China and Korea. This alliance is poised to capitalize on the fast-growing Sea-Air market spurred by the demand for e-commerce logistics from China.

"LX Pantos currently operates subsidiaries in 40 countries and boasts over 380 global networks, offering integrated logistics solutions across sea, air, rail, and contract logistics," Lee Yong-ho stated. He emphasized that the Katowice Logistics Center represents a strategic milestone in augmenting their presence in the European logistics landscape.

Founded in 1977, LX Pantos has established itself as a leading global logistics service provider headquartered in Korea. The company offers comprehensive logistics solutions and operates through an extensive network spanning over 40 countries, catering to various sectors and markets. As logistical needs evolve globally, LX Pantos is well-positioned to respond and adapt to these changes, reinforcing its global stature.
