Following two successful years, this event invites enthusiasts to indulge in an even more diverse lineup of chestnut confections and desserts.

3. Creative Chestnut Treats: Enjoy around 20 different types of chestnut-based sweets and innovative creations that elevate the traditional flavors of chestnut confectionery.

The Nakatsugawa chestnut confectionery, originating from Nakatsugawa city in Gifu Prefecture, has a production and sales period that spans from the arrival of new domestic chestnuts until the vernal equinox. During this time, visitors from all over Japan flock to Nakatsugawa to taste these delicacies.

The unique flavors of Nakatsugawa chestnuts are the result of regional variations in sweetness and texture, which can change based on factors like the quality of the newest harvest.
