NJM Insurance Group Announces Leadership Transition
NJM Insurance Group, a leading property and casualty insurer in the Mid-Atlantic region, is undergoing a significant leadership change as President and Chief Executive Officer Mitch Livingston prepares for retirement on July 31, 2025. Lebenson, who has dedicated 19 years to NJM, will step down after seven impactful years at the helm. The Board of Directors has selected Carol Voorhees, currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, to succeed him.
A Legacy of Leadership
Mitch Livingston's tenure is marked by transformative growth and innovation for NJM. Under his guidance, the company has diversified its product offerings and expanded its geographic reach, evolving into a full-service, multi-line regional carrier. NJM’s commitment to delivering exceptional service to its policyholders remained unwavering throughout its expansion.
Edward Stern, Chairman of NJM's Board of Directors, expressed gratitude for Livingston's contributions, especially during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. "Mitch skillfully navigated the company through its most transformational period and enhanced its service mission," Stern noted.

As she steps into the role of CEO, her hands-on experience, especially in data analytics and project management, positions her well to further NJM’s strategic goals while upholding its commitment to policyholder service.
