Harumi Bay Bon Odori Festival 2026. This vibrant cultural event will unfold on
July 11 and 12, 2026, at the scenic
Harumi Wharf Park in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. With breathtaking views of Tokyo Bay, the festival promises to bring together residents and visitors alike for an unforgettable summer experience.
A Celebration of Tradition
This year’s festival will feature a lineup of
10 traditional Bon Odori dances, showcasing performances in collaboration with the Chuo Ward Folk Dance Association and the Chuo Ward Taiko Association. The program includes iconic tunes that everyone – from children to the elderly – can enjoy dancing to. Here are the dances that you can look forward to:

This year’s festival will host an impressive
48 stalls, the largest number ever seen at this event. Attendees can indulge in a variety of treats and experiences that reflect the spirit of the HARUMI FLAG area. From classic festival food to unique local offerings, here’s just a taste of what’s available:

A Unique Coastal Bon Odori Experience
Unlike any other, Harumi Wharf Park is adjacent to the site of the former Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Village. The festival allows participants to enjoy Bon Odori dancing against a backdrop of stunning views of the Rainbow Bridge and the refreshing sea breeze, creating a unique escape from the bustling city. Traditional attire, such as yukata, is encouraged, making it even more festive.

We envision a time when children will fondly recall, ‘Summer means the Bon Odori in Harumi.’ Thanks to the support of many volunteers, we believe in fostering genuine connections within our community by sharing simple, joyful interactions as we dance together.
