Shibuya Mark City, managed by Shibuya Mark City Co., Ltd., is thrilled to announce its 25th anniversary this year. To celebrate this special milestone, various events are being held throughout the facility under the theme '25TH Anniversary Festival.' With a mix of gratitude and enjoyment, the celebration aims to engage visitors and create lasting memories.

Thank You Flower Event

In May, a standout event named 'Thank You Flower' will take place. On May 25, Sunday, the first 2,500 guests visiting Shibuya Mark City will receive a single flower as a token of appreciation for their support over the years. This year, the flowers will be sourced responsibly as 'lost flowers,' which are those that do not meet sales standards but are still beautiful and deserving of a showcase.

• - Location: Shibuya Mark City East 1F Event Square
• - Distribution Start Time: 10:00 AM until supplies last
• - Number of Flowers: 2,500 flowers available

Each guest is welcome to receive one flower only. Given the limits, the flowers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until they run out. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone involved, guests are kindly requested to avoid arriving during late night or early morning hours. A waiting line may be set up depending on the crowd that day.

Facility Decorations and History

As part of the anniversary celebrations, historical graphics titled The Story of Shibuya Mark City: Growing with Shibuya will be displayed. These installations will showcase 25 years of Shibuya Mark City’s impact alongside significant events from Shibuya and the world.

The event is organized by the editorial team of GINGER WEB of Gentosha, who have meticulously crafted visual boards to illuminate the story of Shibuya Mark City and its intertwined journey with Shibuya’s growth.

Musical Experience

In collaboration with the historical graphics, guests can also enjoy a special music selection broadcast throughout the facility. It includes hits from the 2000s alongside tracks celebrating the essence of Shibuya and its vibrant culture.
