In collaboration with the Toyo Keizai Sustainability Forum, Sherpa & Company will host a specialized webinar that delves into the pressing issues surrounding sustainability disclosure in an age increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence (AI). The seminar will focus on the evolving expectations of stakeholders, such as ESG rating agencies, investors, and media outlets, in the context of effective communication about sustainability, ESG, and CSR information.

Background

In recent years, the expectation for firms to disclose their sustainability, ESG, and CSR information has intensified. Companies now face significant pressures to engage effectively with various stakeholders who seek transparent and reliable data. This has led to the necessity of providing consistent information across multiple platforms, including securities reports and integrated reports. However, the increasing variation in information formats and dissemination methods has created substantial practical burdens for organizations.

As a response to these challenges, there is a growing emphasis on refining the strategic design of sustainability disclosures and leveraging technologies—particularly generative AI—to boost operational efficiency and enhance disclosure quality. The critical question now revolves around how to create disclosures that stakeholders can accurately interpret and understand.
