First Tenant Interaction Event at Gotanda JP Building Features Unique Molkky Tournament

Exciting Event at Gotanda JP Building: The Molkky Tournament

The Gotanda JP Building, managed by Japan Post Real Estate Co., is set to host a unique community event—its first-ever tenant interaction event titled the "Gotanda JP Building Cup Molkky Tournament". This event will take place from May 27 to June 25, 2026, featuring a pioneering indoor Molkky tournament in Japan held in the building's lobby area.

Molkky is a straightforward yet thrilling sport originating from Finland. It involves players throwing a wooden stick to knock down pins, making it an engaging activity suitable for all ages and skill levels. Its inclusive nature makes it perfect for team-building activities within companies.

Special Exhibition Match

An exciting highlight of this tournament will be an exhibition match where the winning team will compete against the "King of Molkky," led by popular figure Tetsuya Morita from the comedic duo "Saraba Seishun no Hikari". This encounter is aimed at boosting the participants' motivation and stirring conversations about the event.

Background of the Event

Since its grand opening in April 2024, the Gotanda JP Building has emerged as a new business hub attracting a diverse range of companies. To facilitate better interaction among tenants and foster a sense of community among workers, the event organizers decided to focus on Molkky as an accessible sports activity that everyone could enjoy.
