Patrick Industries Strengthens Marine Sector with Strategic Acquisitions
Patrick Industries Expands Marine Market Presence
Patrick Industries, Inc. continues to push the envelope in the marine sector by successfully acquiring two notable players in the industry, Quality Engineered Services (QES) and Egis Group, LLC. This strategic move is set to bolster the company’s already robust offerings in marine electronics, marking a significant step forward in its growth strategy.
Located in Syracuse, Indiana, QES is a manufacturer renowned for its expertise in producing wire harnesses and electrical systems tailored for both the marine and recreational vehicle industries. Meanwhile, Egis Group, based in Bellingham, Washington, specializes in engineered electrical components and system-level solutions that cater to a range of applications in marine and specialty vehicles. Products like terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and power distribution modules are some of the standout offerings from Egis that further enhance Patrick's existing product lineup. Together, the two companies generated an impressive combined revenue of approximately $39 million in the 12 months leading up to November 2025.
In a press release, Patrick's CEO Andy Nemeth expressed enthusiasm about the integration of QES and Egis into Patrick's operations. He emphasized the shared values of quality, service, reliability, and innovation that shaped the cultures within both companies. Nemeth believes that by merging their resources and expertise, both companies will drive increased value for customers and shareholders alike. “We are proud to welcome the QES and Egis teams to Patrick,” said Nemeth, highlighting the importance of their entrepreneurial spirit.
Jake Petkovich, President of the Marine division, added that these acquisitions are pivotal in advancing Patrick's long-term strategy which aims to deliver a unique and customizable range of component solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), particularly in the outdoor enthusiast sector. Petkovich noted, “These acquisitions further advance Patrick's strategy to develop innovative solutions while expanding our capabilities across engineered electrical components and system-level integration.”
The benefits of these acquisitions extend beyond just an enhanced product line; they also strategically position Patrick Industries closer to several major pontoon and RV Original Equipment Manufacturers. This proximity is expected to bolster the company's service level and customer engagement significantly.
Despite the acquisitions, QES and Egis will maintain their existing operational identities and facility locations. This approach allows for a smoother transition and continued brand loyalty from their respective customer bases.
