J&T Express Achieves Historic 30 Billion Parcels in 2025 with Impressive Growth

J&T Express Reaches New Heights with 30 Billion Parcels in 2025

In a remarkable demonstration of its operational excellence, J&T Global Express Limited, widely known as J&T Express, announced that it has achieved an unprecedented milestone in parcel volume, delivering over 30 billion packages across the globe in 2025. This achievement reflects a year-on-year growth of 22.2%, significantly underscoring the company's position within the global logistics sector.

Accelerated Growth Driven by E-commerce

The increase in parcel volume is largely attributed to the booming e-commerce sector, particularly in Southeast Asia and newly emerging markets. In the fourth quarter of 2025 alone, J&T handled a total of 8.46 billion parcels, marking a notable 14.5% increase from the previous year. This equates to an impressive daily average of about 92 million parcels. The results highlight J&T’s ability to capitalize on the peak e-commerce season, which significantly boosted its parcel volumes, especially in favorable markets.

Southeast Asia emerged as a key player in J&T’s growth strategy, showcasing a staggering year-on-year increase of 73.6% in Q4 2025, delivering 2.44 billion parcels. Throughout the year, the region contributed a total of 7.66 billion parcels, reflecting a robust annual growth rate of 67.8%. This growth underscores J&T's successful market penetration and customer engagement strategies in Southeast Asia.

In addition, the company reported remarkable growth in newly targeted markets such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Mexico, Brazil, and Egypt. In Q4 2025, parcel volume for these markets skyrocketed to 130 million, an astounding 79.7% jump compared to the prior year. Throughout 2025, parcel volume in these new frontiers reached 400 million, a 43.6% increase, indicating J&T Express's effective growth strategies tailored to evolving market demands.

Investment in Infrastructure and Automation

J&T Express has committed itself to significant investments in technology and infrastructure to sustain its growth momentum. In 2025, the company prioritized optimizing its operational networks, upgrading sorting centers, and automating its facilities to streamline logistics. A notable highlight was the rapid enhancement of outlet automation in China, with the deployment of 1,000 unmanned vehicles designed to improve last-mile delivery efficiency significantly.

By the end of 2025, J&T Express operated a network of 19,300 outlets and 246 sorting centers. The company expanded its automated sorting capabilities with a year-on-year increase of 134 machines, bringing the total to 413 across multiple markets, allowing for enhanced processing speed and efficiency.

Charles Junyi Hou, Group Vice President of J&T Express, attributed the company’s monumental growth to the rapid evolution of e-commerce and a diverse customer base. He remarked, "The delivery of over 30 billion parcels globally by 2025 sets a new benchmark for us; our future focus will be on strengthening our global network and innovating to meet market demands effectively."

Looking Ahead

Looking towards the future, J&T Express aims to continue expanding its global presence and operational capabilities. The company is set on leveraging technological advancements, enhancing customer satisfaction through value-added services, and solidifying its footprint in both existing and new markets. As J&T Express embarks on its journey post the 30 billion milestone, the logistics giant is well-positioned to adapt and thrive in an ever-evolving sector.

In conclusion, J&T Express's journey in 2025 has been nothing short of extraordinary, setting a high standard for logistics operators globally. With continued innovation and strategic initiatives, the company is primed for further success in the years to come.
