With a contract value of NOK 1.7 billion, roughly equating to SEK 1.6 billion, this project is set to be recorded in Skanska's Nordic order bookings for the second quarter of 2025.

The planned Skøyen metro station will feature two tracks along with dual access points, strategically located on either side of Hoffsveien, thereby improving accessibility for commuters. The construction will take place approximately 45 meters below ground, where a state-of-the-art station hall will be established. Aside from general concrete construction, the project entails crucial technical and infrastructural works including ventilation systems, electrical installations, and the integration of elevators and escalators. Furthermore, exterior spaces and access buildings will also be constructed, alongside finalization tasks within pre-excavated tunnels.

Skøyen is recognized as one of Oslo's primary public transportation hubs. The introduction of the new metro station is expected to significantly increase capacity and enhance connectivity between subway, train, and bus services.
