Diversity Forum 2026: Fostering Inclusive Organizations

The Chemical Industry Daily is set to hold the 2026 Diversity Forum, titled "Considering Organizational Development Leveraging Diversity," on March 4, 2026. This event will take place at the Tokyo City Air Terminal, and it's free to attend, with a capacity of 100 participants.

As the workforce population diminishes due to aging and declining birth rates, addressing sustainability in corporate management is critical for maintaining competitive advantage and fostering growth. Key focus areas include diversity and inclusion, utilizing human capital, and tackling climate change. Strategic approaches to these challenges can significantly influence corporate value and sustainability.

First launched in 2023, this year marks the third installment of the Diversity Forum. It aims to delve into the crucial role that diversity plays in organizational strength and competitiveness. The keynote speaker, Hiroki Date, CEO of Business Research Lab, will share his extensive experience and evidence-based insights on organizational development. His talk will provide valuable information on identifying challenges and enhancing employee engagement, aimed at building robust organizations.

The forum will also feature a panel discussion that highlights the importance of cultivating female leaders within the realm of diversity management. The session will include insights on practical implementations of diversity initiatives in areas such as public relations and recruitment, encouraging interactive dialogue with attendees. Participating in hands-on workshop experiences will allow attendees to engage meaningfully with the topics discussed.

Beyond the presentations, a networking event will be held post-forum, offering attendees an excellent opportunity for information exchange and collaborative learning. This is a must-attend event for anyone engaged in human resources, corporate strategy, or interested in promoting diverse work environments.
