Introduced in 2012 by American cardiologist Barbara Natterson-Horowitz, this concept is increasingly gaining recognition as a tool for advancing medical knowledge and treatments that could benefit both animals and humans.

Objectives of the Collaborative Research

The core goals of this joint research include:
1. Development of New Animal Pharmaceuticals: Using the expertise accumulated by the Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine, Nippon Soda aims to design novel medications that can meet the needs of veterinary care.
2. Establishment of Commercial Manufacturing Methods: This project will work towards creating efficient production processes for these new pharmaceuticals, ensuring they can be brought to market effectively.
