Announcing the 32nd Coca-Cola Environmental Education Award
The Coca-Cola Educational & Environmental Foundation, located in Shibuya, Tokyo, is excited to announce the commencement of the application period for the 32nd Coca-Cola Environmental Education Award, which runs from April 1 to August 31, 2026. This esteemed award aims to recognize and promote exemplary efforts in environmental conservation, awareness, beautification, and education.
Since its inception in 1994, the award has provided support and funding to various initiatives across Japan, receiving over 2,400 applications to date. The final selection and awarding ceremony will take place online on October 17, 2026.
This year’s award stands in alignment with the internationally recognized Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and will feature two specific categories:
1.
Activity Promotion Division for elementary and junior high school students and their teachers.
2.
Planning and Research Promotion Division aimed at high school students and above, including college students and non-profit organizations led by students.
A highlight of the award will be a three-day experiential learning program scheduled for January 9-11, 2027, where award-winning organizations from across Japan will gather at the Coca-Cola Environmental House in Yubari, Hokkaido, to deepen their exchanges and learn more about nature.

Selection and Award Ceremony
After the application period, a first round of selection will take place, and the organizations nominated for the final round will then be notified for presentations. The award ceremony is planned to announce the winners via online presentation.
The foundation will subsequently publish the award ceremony video on its website.

Coca-Cola Environmental House at Uenbetsu Elementary School
Located in Kuriyama Town, Hokkaido, the Uenbetsu Elementary School has been converted into a facility for experiential environmental education. Since its grand opening in 2010, it has provided learning opportunities for elementary school overnight training, university student practices, sports training camps, and corporate training.
