New Entertainment Arrivals in Hanoi: GiGO and Little Planet Opening in 2026

Exciting New Attractions Arriving in Hanoi

On April 30, 2026, Hanoi will witness the grand opening of two new entertainment venues at AEON Mall Ha Dong: GiGO AEON Mall Ha Dong and Little Planet AEON Mall Ha Dong. This marks the first-ever venture for both brands in Vietnam's capital, a milestone for the expanding entertainment scene in the region.

A Prime Location for Entertainment

Located in the booming Ha Dong area, AEON Mall Ha Dong has been notable since its inception in 2019, being the largest among AEON's shopping malls in Vietnam. As an essential destination for families, the addition of GiGO and Little Planet signifies a diversification of entertainment options, catering to the increasing demand for family-friendly experiences in the rapidly developing urban landscape of Hanoi.

GiGO Vietnam is expanding its operations beyond Ho Chi Minh City, marking its northern debut with these venues. The mall creates a perfect environment where both entertainment hubs will operate side by side, attracting patrons looking for engaging activities.

What to Expect from GiGO AEON Mall Ha Dong

Spanning 458 tsubo (approximately 1,500 square meters) on the third floor of AEON Mall, GiGO is designed to offer a true arcade experience reminiscent of Japan. Visitors can indulge in a wide variety of games, including popular crane games featuring anime and video game characters, alongside music games, driving simulators, and unique offerings like 'GORON!', a capsule toy vending corner exclusive to Vietnam. This venue aims to replicate Japan's highly successful amusement centers, providing patrons with a blend of entertainment through exciting gaming experiences.

GiGO will also feature exclusive merchandise and campaigns, ensuring that visitors can enjoy authentic Japanese entertainment. The venue emphasizes high-quality engagement, drawing in families and young crowds eager for thrilling activities.

Discover the Little Planet Experience

In parallel, Little Planet, a next-generation theme park, promises to stimulate children’s curiosity and creativity through interactive installations that merge digital technology with traditional play. This family-oriented venue creates a unique environment where kids can play in high-tech ball pits or engage in sand play combined with augmented reality elements.

Children will have the chance to experience nine popular attractions localized from Japan, which include standout features such as ZABOOM JOURNEY, an adventurous sensory ball pool, SAND PARTY!, a sand play experience utilizing AR technology, and SKETCH RACING, bringing art to life as drawings transform into 3D racing vehicles. Families can expect an educational adventure that expands the concept of play, enhancing the experience with a tech-savvy twist.

As part of its international expansion, the newly opened Little Planet is the third venue under the GiGO brand located outside Japan, following its successful openings in Taiwan and Ho Chi Minh City.

A Celebration of Fun

The opening ceremony on April 30, 2026, will celebrate this exciting development in Hanoi’s entertainment landscape. Yoshisuke Imanishi, CEO of GiGO Vietnam, expressed enthusiasm about launching in Vietnam’s capital, highlighting the country's youthful demographic and rising interest in innovative entertainment options.
