The Tokyo Minato City is all set to host the MINATO City Half Marathon in 2026, commemorating 80 years of local governance. The marathon is scheduled for November 15, 2026 (Sunday), and will proceed rain or shine. It is initiated by the Minato City Marathon Executive Committee, in collaboration with the Tokyo Athletics Association. Categories of the Race

Participants can choose from several categories:

• - Half Marathon
• - Youth Run (approximately 3.6 km)
• - Fun Run (approximately 800 m)

Participants’ Information

In total, up to 5,000 participants will be accepted for the Half Marathon, while the Youth Run will accommodate 200, and the Fun Run will have a cap of 500.

Eligibility Criteria

• - Half Marathon: Participants must be 18 years or older and capable of finishing within the time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• - Youth Run: Open to participants born between April 2, 2008, and April 1, 2016, with a completion time limit of 25 minutes.
• - Fun Run: Primarily for Minato residents, children can take part with parental supervision, with a completion time limit of 30 minutes.
