This internship is fully remote, allowing talent from across the nation to join the mission of updating social structures through technology.

Key Details of the Hackathon:


  • - Event Name: JBA Blockchain Hackathon 2026
  • - Participation Fee: Free
  • - Eligibility: Students and young professionals (up to a few years of experience). Both engineers and those with business development perspectives are encouraged to participate.
  • - Application Period: January 14, 2026, to February 6, 2026.
  • - Expected Participants: Teams consisting of 1 to 4 members, with a maximum of 16 teams (approximately 16 to 64 participants).
  • - Theme: Stable Coins

The program encourages participants to brainstorm and develop a wide range of ideas and products intersecting the financial, payment, and Web3 services domains, without any specific blockchain or stable coin restrictions.

Program Structure


The hackathon consists of three primary segments:

1. Ideathon (Online)
- Date: March 7, 2026, from 18:00 to 21:30
- Format: Online via Zoom
- Contents: Participants will pitch their ideas, refine their proposals through feedback, engage in discussions, and collaboratively build teams.

2. Workshop (Online)
- Date: March 8, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00
- Format: Online via Zoom
- Theme: Basics of AI-Driven Development, led by Kentaro Masuda of RuckPlus. Participants will learn efficient development techniques leveraging AI and how to integrate AI collaboration into their projects.

3. Demo Day & Networking (Hybrid)
- Date: March 15, 2026, from 13:00 to 21:30
- Format: Hybrid (in-person participation is recommended)
- Location: MIDORI.so Nagatacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
- Contents: The event will include preliminary rounds where 16 teams present, followed by the final round featuring 5 teams competing for awards, alongside a networking session.

Additionally, awards will be available from sponsors with prizes valued at approximately 100,000 yen each.

Transportation Assistance


To support students traveling from distant locations, the event will offer transportation subsidies, while professionals will be excluded from assistance.
  • - Local Students: No support for the Greater Tokyo Area.
  • - Nearby Regions: 5,000 yen support
  • - Middle Distance Regions: 10,000 yen support for those traveling from further areas.
