RAMEN TECH period, a time dedicated to technological and business advancements in the region. The primary purpose of the event was to foster business partnerships through networking opportunities between startups and major corporations, both from Japan and overseas.
Theme and Objectives
The theme,
“Know the World. Connect with the World”, highlighted the need for local startups to think globally. Entrepreneurs and investors from various fields participated to share their experiences through talks, lectures, and pitch sessions. The initiative aimed at raising awareness of global opportunities among local startups while creating avenues for funding and business match-making. A crucial goal was to develop a robust global startup ecosystem in Fukuoka that encourages ventures to expand internationally, attracting investments and talent from around the globe.
Takanezawa’s Presentation
Among the notable speakers was
Kosuke Takanezawa, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of And-dot, who took part in the
Pitch Challenge for Local Startups. His presentation focused on the
“Holding Company Co-Creation Strategy”, which aims to streamline and expand multiple business verticals by forming subsidiary companies. He emphasized the necessity for businesses to adapt quickly to market changes by leveraging this approach.
Takanezawa described And-dot's technical strengths, particularly their cost-effective, on-premises AI infrastructure. Through AI-driven development methodologies, And-dot has demonstrated superior productivity in their software development processes. He shared notable achievements, such as And-dot Network receiving funding from
QTnet, part of the Kyushu Electric Power Group, and successful
Proof of Concept (PoC) trials at Fukuoka Airport. He expressed optimism about accelerating their expansion into the Asian market using these foundations.
About Kosuke Takanezawa
Kosuke Takanezawa has been active in the tech industry since 2011. With a strong background in full stack development, engineering management, and product management, he has worked with several firms, focusing on web-based technologies. His academic endeavors include research and development of AI services incorporating natural language processing.
Currently, in addition to his role at And-dot, Takanezawa serves as a technical advisor in various startups and leads technology for a human-tech company. Recently, he has concentrated on generative AI technologies, participating in pitch contests and various events aimed at promoting cutting-edge AI advancements. He is known for his motto—
