Busch Gardens Extravaganza: Honoring Veterans With Free Admission This July 4th

Busch Gardens Honors Veterans and Active-Duty Military

As we approach America’s Independence Day, Busch Gardens is rolling out the red carpet in gratitude for the service and sacrifices made by our military members. The parks located in Tampa Bay and Williamsburg, along with Adventure Island and Water Country USA, are set to honor both veterans and active-duty military personnel with complimentary tickets as a heartfelt thank you for their invaluable contributions.

A Day of Fun for America’s Heroes

This year, the celebrations include free one-day admission for veterans and up to three guests. Veterans can register for this special offer until June 22 and redeem their tickets for a fun-filled day at the park up until July 6. Furthermore, active-duty military personnel, who also receive complimentary admission for themselves and three guests year-round, can enjoy an additional three free tickets for dependents to share the excitement during this festive period.

This initiative is part of the United Parks Resorts' Waves of Honor program, a long-established tradition dedicated to honoring the bravery of active military members and veterans. Over the past 20 years, this program has allowed over 10 million military guests and their families to experience the joy and thrills offered by these theme parks.

The parks boast a wide array of attractions, ranging from exhilarating rides to educational animal experiences. The aim is to provide military families with the opportunity to create lasting memories, surrounded by the natural beauty of the parks and the excitement of the attractions.

Registration and Admission Details

Eligible veterans and retirees can easily register for their complimentary tickets at WavesofHonor.com prior to June 22. Following registration, tickets must be utilized by July 6. It’s important to note that service members and their immediate dependents must possess a valid active military ID for participation in this offer.

For U.S. active-duty military personnel, whether activated, drilling reservists, or National Guardsmen, the program also includes the annual right to one free admission for themselves and up to three dependents to both Busch Gardens parks and their associated water parks. During this special time frame leading up to July 6, they can additionally claim three extra tickets for dependents.

Supplementary discounts and offers can be accessed throughout the year through MWR and ITT offices on military bases, or online at the Waves of Honor site.
