HSG Laser Marks 20 Years with U.S. Distributor Conference in Chicago
HSG Laser, a leader in the laser technology and manufacturing field, has commemorated its 20th anniversary with the successful hosting of its 2026 U.S. Distributor Conference and Open Day in Chicago. This significant event not only gathered key distributors from across North America but also emphasized HSG's commitment to expanding its presence in the region. The event celebrated a remarkable year for HSG, showcasing their impressive growth trajectory, especially in North America, which saw an astounding 200% year-over-year increase in revenue.
During the conference, attendees had the opportunity to hear from HSG’s North American leadership team, including Rakesh Kumar, President of HSG North America. The discussions centered around the company’s performance in 2025 as well as strategic priorities for 2026. Emphasizing the importance of collaboration, HSG reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing partnerships with distributors and consumers alike, aiming to fortify its market share in the North American metal fabrication sector.
As part of their strategic outreach, Kumar laid out the company's vision for the year ahead. He announced plans to bolster local service capabilities and product support, which are critical as the company shifts towards a more solutions-driven sales model. This pivot intends to integrate laser equipment with automation systems to optimize workflows, thereby improving customer productivity and driving greater return on investment.
Reflecting on HSG’s impressive growth, Kumar noted, “The strong growth we achieved over the past year would not have been possible without the dedication of our distributor partners and the continued trust of our customers.” The company is also looking to expand its U.S. workforce in 2026, adding positions focused on sales, technical support, and service operations to provide even better assistance for partners and customers.
The highlight of the conference also included the announcement of the new HSG Geneva Technical Solution Center in Geneva, Illinois. This state-of-the-art facility, covering approximately 77,000 square feet, is currently serving as a parts warehouse and machine inventory center, with plans for it to evolve into a comprehensive technical solutions center by Q3 2026. The Geneva center will feature technology demonstrations, application training programs, and validation for customers, further enhancing HSG's local service capabilities in North America.
Kumar emphasized the significance of the Geneva center, stating it will become a pivotal part of HSG’s service infrastructure, providing improved machine demonstrations and application training. This commitment to expanding technical support represents HSG’s dedication to its partners and customers, facilitating a more robust manufacturing environment.
Overall, the 2026 U.S. Distributor Conference in Chicago not only marked a significant milestone for HSG Laser but also set the stage for future success through enhanced collaboration, service, and technical solutions. With the addition of new facilities and a dedicated automation solutions team, HSG Laser is poised to continue its growth in North America, helping local manufacturers enhance productivity and embrace intelligent fabrication technologies.
