Creative Art Workshops at Miyama Cafe PUUT

Miyama Cafe PUUT, located within Miyama Park in Tamano, Okayama, is excited to introduce a series of engaging art workshops that run from May to July. Coinciding with the Setouchi International Art Festival 2025, these workshops are aimed at bringing art closer to everyone, regardless of age or experience.

Workshop Overview

The workshops are divided into two distinct themes:
1. Alcohol Ink Art (May to June)
2. Texture Art (June to July)

What is Alcohol Ink Art?
Alcohol Ink Art utilizes inks that contain alcohol to create stunning, spontaneous color blends and patterns. This technique allows for the formation of unique abstract art pieces with unpredictable marbled patterns and overlapping colors. Participants in this workshop will have the chance to spread their chosen colors on A5-sized paper, creating beautiful designs intuitively.

This hands-on experience using seasonal flowers was highly praised for its simplicity and enjoyment, and many participants shared their completed wreaths on social media.
