SERMATEC's Corporate Salon in Athens: A Step Towards Stronger European Partnerships
On April 7, 2025, SERMATEC, a prominent operator in energy digital intelligence and a provider of energy storage system solutions, successfully hosted its Corporate Salon at the Athens Plaza Hotel in Greece. The event was a significant gathering that brought together key distributors and EPC companies from across Europe, aiming to foster collaboration and innovation in the energy sector.
The salon featured technical discussions, solution demonstrations, and interactive Q&A sessions, creating a platform for professionals to share insights and experiences related to energy efficiency and sustainable practices. This initiative marks SERMATEC's continued commitment to accelerating Europe's transition toward low-carbon energy solutions.
The opening speech was delivered by Dimitris Kotzonis, the Technical Director of UPSOLAR HELLAS, a European partner of SERMATEC. He emphasized the importance of adapting to fluctuating energy prices and the increasing demand for modern grid solutions. Kotzonis noted that SERMATEC's intelligent energy storage systems are a perfect complement to UPSOLAR HELLAS's regional expertise and market presence. “Our partnership exemplifies open collaboration,” Kotzonis stated, highlighting their successful implementations of projects across key European markets.
Ji Hui, SERMATEC’s International Sales Director, then shared achievements related to the company's global development. He mentioned that driven by a dual strategy of “technology + service,” SERMATEC has expanded its operations to over 30 countries and regions worldwide, supplying more than 10 GWh of energy storage systems. The company focuses on customer value enhancement through tailor-made digital energy platforms and life cycle-oriented solutions.
During the Q&A session, attendees expressed keen interest in discussing challenges like rising electricity prices and grid stability in Southern Europe. SERMATEC's team demonstrated how their artificial intelligence-based system can monitor electricity prices in real-time, adjusting loads based on solar production to maximize benefits for users. “As a company committed to energy storage, SERMATEC has always been dedicated to delivering safe, efficient, and intelligent green energy solutions worldwide. This salon deepened our connections with local partners, laying a firmer foundation to address European market needs.
