Nikka Home's Largest Ever Referral Project Kicks Off for 2026 Graduates

Nikka Home's Referral Project for 2026 Graduates

Nikka Home Co., Ltd., a company specializing in residential renovation, has commenced its referral project for new graduates from the class of 2026, starting from October 2025 across four regions in Japan. This year's initiative sees a record 49 participants organized into 9 teams, significantly surpassing last year's participation numbers. The project enables selected candidates to invite friends and juniors to “job search consultation meetings,” effectively promoting a culture of mutual support amongst aspiring professionals.

Expansion of the Project

This significant project involves participants from four major regions: Chubu, West Japan, Kyushu, and Kanto. Notably, Kanto's contingent has grown from 15 to 21 members this year, reflecting a nationwide increase in participation to 49 members, approximately 1.4 times more than last year. The number of groups has also risen from 6 to 9, allowing for enhanced teamwork as participants collaborate both online and in person.

Understanding the Referral Project

The referral project involves candidates forming teams to introduce their friends and juniors to job consultation meetings that are available only to invitees. This lowers the threshold for participation and makes it easier for students to engage without feeling overwhelmed. Unlike typical informational sessions, this project provides a comfortable environment for students to learn essential job-hunting strategies while having direct access to the company’s HR team.

The Job Consultation Meetings

These exclusive sessions focus on active learning rather than mere presentations. Students will gain insights into successful job hunting patterns, which elevates their overall satisfaction with the program. This year, the project runs from October 18 to December 26, and initial engagement statistics show a promising upward trend—by the end of October, the number of entries for the 2026 class reached 93, doubling last year's figures at the same point in time.

Successful Kick-off Meeting

The project's kickoff meeting in October was bustling with energy as both students and Nikka Home employees participated. Attendees received valuable tips on how to effectively recommend attendees, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared growth among future colleagues. This atmosphere of collective ambition significantly boosts the motivation of all participants involved.

Rewards for Participants

Apart from monetary rewards based on the number of referrals made, this project emphasizes personal development and strengthening relationships with peers. Participants will acquire essential skills such as team management, progress tracking, and communication techniques prior to starting their employment.

Benefits for the Company

Referral hiring offers significant advantages for Nikka Home as well. Employees recruited via referrals tend to have lower turnover rates and demonstrate high performance. This mutually beneficial model encourages Nikka Home to deepen its reliance on referral strategies for recruitment moving forward.

Cultivating a Challenge-oriented Culture

At Nikka Home, the recruitment process is seen as a platform for the growth of prospective employees, valuing their autonomy and fostering a culture of challenge. The referral project is not merely a hiring tactic, but a unique initiative that embodies Nikka Home’s commitment to mentoring and nurturing future talent before they even step foot into the company.
