About the Authors

Mio Nakatsuka was born in Hiroshima in 1984 and is a mother of two. She enjoys reading picture books to her children at bedtime and was inspired to create fun stories to make her daughter giggle. This is her first picture book.

Nanae Kawashima was born in 1983, graduated from Tokyo Zokei University, and holds a master’s degree from Tama Art University. She loves Kabuki and has previously authored several successful works, including the "Ichi-ni-chi" series, which has sold over 600,000 copies.
