DEW: Innovative Light and Water Art Installation Unveiled at Shibuya's NANANAN Festival 2026

Unveiling the Future of Art: The DEW Installation

The world of art and immersive experiences is taking a bold step forward with VITRO's latest creation, the DEW installation, which will be showcased at the NANANAN Festival 2026 from July 10 to July 12 at Shibuya 100BANCH. This innovative installation combines light and water, allowing visitors to engage with the art in a captivating, meditative fashion.

The DEW project has evolved significantly from its previous form as a compact interior lighting solution to an expansive installation designed for various commercial spaces. This transformation was driven by feedback from customers and creators desiring a more dynamic experience in larger venues such as hotels and bars. The BIG DEW INSTALLATION will not only engage the visual and tactile senses but will also offer a unique aromatic experience, making it an all-encompassing delight for the senses.

Experience the Meditative Power of DEW

DEW relies on the rhythmic drop of water and the interplay of light reflections to create a soothing ambiance. The installation aims to envelop the entire space, transforming it into a serene environment for meditation and relaxation. To develop this immersive installation, VITRO collaborated with space designers and TUTTI INDUSTRIES, a fabrication lab, showcasing a fusion of technology, art, and design to deliver an experience like no other.

Key Features of the BIG DEW INSTALLATION:
1. Immersive Spatial Design: In collaboration with designer Mikoto Nunokawa, DEW's tranquil aesthetic has been expanded to envelop the entire environment. The design strategically guides the viewer’s gaze, enhancing the visual allure of light and water dynamics.
2. Customizable Water Droplet Control: Through a partnership with TUTTI INDUSTRIES, a specially designed controller allows users to intuitively adjust the speed and flow of the water droplets. This feature enables customization based on the time of day or specific uses in bars or saunas, enhancing the interactive element of the installation.
3. Aromatherapy Integration: Beyond visual stimulation, the DEW installation incorporates aromatherapy, stimulating the sense of smell to create a fully immersive atmosphere. This multi-sensory experience promises to transport visitors into a realm of relaxation and tranquility.

Calling Architects and Space Designers!

VITRO seeks partnerships with architects and interior designers interested in implementing the DEW installation in various settings. Whether it’s laying the groundwork for meditation rooms in spas, creating luxurious lounge environments in bars and hotels, or capturing foot traffic with eye-catching displays in department stores, this innovative installation is poised to revolutionize public spaces. The interactive controller will allow professionals to witness firsthand the adjustments in ambiance and how it can cater to different environments.
