SASSEN Official Competition and Experience Day in Sumida

On July 13, 2025, an electrifying event took place at Sumida Park Place in Tokyo's Sumida Ward, featuring the SASSEN (サッセン) official competition and an exciting experience day. This next-generation digital combat sport made waves as participants engaged in thrilling 1-on-1 duels using sensor-equipped SASSEN swords. These battles are digitally visualized, allowing everyone to safely enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of a digital sport that is both entertaining to watch and participate in.

Approximately 20 competitors showcased their skills in the tournament, with player Akai winning a hard-fought championship. The atmosphere was lively as families and beginners engaged in the experience event, gaining firsthand insight into the captivating world of SASSEN. Attendees were able to try their hand at this innovative sport and felt the excitement firsthand.

As viewed on our official YouTube channel, the event was filled with energizing moments where spectators cheered for their favorite participants. The experience event proved a hit, drawing families excitedly participating together.

In a delightful addition, the last hour of the event (from 16:30) introduced attendees to a new sport called Cyber MOLKKY (サイバーモルック), combining sensor evaluation, LED lighting, and sound effects. As participants interacted with glowing pins in a dimly lit room, the joyful reactions crescendoed with each throw, light-up, and sound, further enriching the festival-like atmosphere of the day.
