Future-Connecting Flower and Green Children's Festival
On November 8, 2025, we are thrilled to announce the hosting of the "Future-Connecting Flower and Green Children's Festival" in Ikebukuro, marking precisely 500 days before the commencement of the 2027 International Horticultural Expo (GREEN×EXPO 2027). This engaging event, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, aims to foster interest and understanding about horticulture and agriculture among children and their families.
Background of the Event
Flowers and greenery play a vital role in enhancing our daily lives by providing comfort and inspiration. In line with the vision of the upcoming GREEN×EXPO 2027, which will be held from March 19 to September 26, 2027, in Yokohama, the festival seeks to promote the value of plants as natural capital and contribute to the creation of a sustainable future. This event particularly focuses on inspiring the next generation—children in elementary and middle school—by offering them a hands-on experience in gardening and agriculture.
