A Flavorful Collaboration: Maruchan and Demon Slayer

In a moment that will excite fans of both instant noodles and anime, Maruchan, the globally recognized instant noodle brand, has announced its partnership with the beloved anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. This innovative collaboration will debut with the introduction of MaruMart, an immersive pop-up experience at the Interactive Zone in Petco Park during the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con.

From July 23 to July 26, attendees will have the opportunity to explore this unique fusion of culinary and anime culture. MaruMart is set up to resemble a typical Japanese convenience store but with a creative twist influenced by the fascinating universe of Demon Slayer. Fans can expect to find an eye-catching environment that marries traditional Japanese aesthetics with the vivid imagery of the series. The pop-up will feature a variety of exclusive Maruchan x Demon Slayer merchandise, including stylish hoodies, trendy t-shirts, and collectible keychains, all for anime lovers and noodle enthusiasts alike.

Interactive Experience

Visitors will be transported into a lush, fully interactive world where they can try their luck at claw machines, engage with character displays featuring iconic characters like Tanjiro, Nezuko, and the nine Hashira, and enjoy numerous photo opportunities designed to encapsulate the essence of Demon Slayer. To heighten the experience, complimentary Maruchan Yakisoba samples will be made available during the event, showcasing flavors inspired by fan-favorite characters. Expect Tanjiro's Beef, Zenitsu's Chicken, and Inosuke's Spicy Chicken Yakisoba, served in special packaging crafted solely for this occasion.

Katelyn Stokes, Marketing Director at Maruchan, expressed her enthusiasm for this partnership, stating, “This collaboration is thrilling as it unites two iconic brands that resonate deeply with fans. MaruMart Demon Slayer Konbini gives attendees a fun and immersive opportunity to celebrate their love for anime, ramen, and Japanese culture.”
