Americas Cardroom Launches Day 1B of its Exciting Dual Venom PKOs Today
Americas Cardroom's Dual Venom PKOs: Day 1B is Here!
Today, the excitement continues for poker fans as Americas Cardroom launches Day 1B of its highly anticipated Dual Venom PKO (Progressive Knockout) tournaments. Starting at 1:05 p.m. ET, participants will have the opportunity to compete for a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million in the No-Limit Hold'em segment, along with an additional $1.5 million in the Pot-Limit Omaha section, both featuring a buy-in of $2,650.
What to Expect in Day 1B
Following the opening flights on October 4, Day 1B promises to kick off with a thrilling atmosphere, especially after witnessing impressive participation in the earlier flights. The initial rounds attracted 511 entries for No-Limit Hold'em and 133 entries for Pot-Limit Omaha, with 86 and 17 players advancing respectively. A player known as Atheist30 led the NLH qualifiers with an impressive chip count of 5,186,479, while BooooomHeadsot led the PLO qualifiers with an equally remarkable 6,706,559 chips.
If you're new to the PKO format, here's a quick breakdown: when a player is eliminated, half their bounty goes to the player who eliminated them, enhancing their own bounty. This dynamic adds an exciting twist to each knockout, creating opportunities for strategic gameplay.
Upcoming Events This Sunday
For those looking to participate further, Day 1C is set for this Sunday, October 11, also at 1:05 p.m. ET. Additionally, the poker room is hosting the first $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega Satellite this Sunday at 2:05 p.m. ET, where players stand a chance to win seven packages worth $30,000 each for the $50 million guaranteed WSOP Paradise Super Main Event scheduled for December 10-17 in the Bahamas. The package includes the buy-in amount and accommodation at the prestigious SLS Baha Mar resort, although travel and personal expenses are not covered.

The opening day was not just about entering tournaments; it was also about lucrative bounty payouts. Notably, player lordgiven raked in $8,125 from NLH bounties, and bethechange and sendmehome each earned $9,687.50 from their PLO games.
