Sheerpa Inc. Relocates Headquarters to Boost Growth and Sustainability

Sheerpa & Company, known for its sustainability data platform SmartESG, has announced the relocation of its headquarters to a new office in Tokyo's Gotanda area beginning in October 2025. The change reflects the company’s expanding business and commitment to sustainability, providing them with better accessibility and an innovative working environment.

Background and Purpose of the Move

Since its launch in November 2022, SmartESG has garnered attention from more than 70 companies, including firms with a market capitalization exceeding 500 billion yen. The platform has rapidly become a key sustainability infrastructure for organizations aiming to enhance their sustainable management practices. In August 2025, Sheerpa successfully raised 1 billion yen as part of its Series B funding, bringing its total fundraising since inception beyond 1.5 billion yen.

To accommodate growth and enhance operational capabilities, Sheerpa's headquarters will be transitioned to a location known as the 'Gotanda Valley,' a bustling area recognized for vibrant start-ups and growth-oriented companies. The new office provides high accessibility to key regions in Tokyo, making it an advantageous location for both employees and visitors alike.

Including significant improvements in remote work capabilities, Sheerpa embraces a hybrid work model—96% of its workforce operates remotely or in a hybrid format as of August 2025. The team encourages closer communication and collaboration among employees while fostering an advanced culture in documentation and text-based exchanges. This move aims to catalyze the next phase of the company’s growth as its influence in the sustainability landscape grows.
