Domino's® Customers Raise Over $18 Million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®
In an impressive display of generosity, customers of Domino's Pizza Inc. have collectively donated over $18 million to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 2024. This fundraising effort is part of Domino's long-standing commitment to support the vital mission of St. Jude, which focuses on developing innovative treatments and conducting research to combat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The campaign known as
Thanks and Giving®, which spanned 11 weeks and concluded on January 5, 2025, raised a remarkable sum of over $8.9 million during its timeframe. This event not only highlighted the power of community support but also encouraged Domino's customers to round up their bills for a good cause, contributing an impressive $8.7 million prior to the campaign. Additionally, an annual fundraising walk/run participated by franchise members and corporate staff helped to gather more than $337,000 in contributions.
Russell Weiner, the CEO of Domino's, expressed his appreciation for the generous contributions from customers, stating, "The Thanks and Giving campaign is a cherished tradition at Domino's. Each year, we are reminded of the significant difference our team members, franchisees, and customers can make in the lives of children in need of medical care worldwide. It continually amazes me how devoted St. Jude is to its patients and their families. For Domino's, it is a privilege to help provide them with a more hopeful future."
With the new funds raised, Domino's has now contributed over $143 million to St. Jude since the inception of this partnership. Notably, in May 2024, Domino's made a bold promise to raise a total of $300 million by 2034 to assist St. Jude's mission of saving more lives. This endeavor marks 21 years of participation for Domino's in the Thanks and Giving campaign, having provided consistent support to ensure that St. Jude never charges families for treatment, travel, lodging, or food, allowing them to focus solely on helping their children survive.
