CPSC Issues Urgent Recall Advisories on Queerick Infant Swings for Serious Safety Risks

CPSC Urges Immediate Action on Queerick Infant Swings

On May 15, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) released a critical warning about the Queerick Infant Swings, urging parents and caregivers to stop using these swings immediately. The alert highlights serious safety concerns, particularly a suffocation hazard that could lead to injury or even death for infants.

The Queerick Infant Swings, marketed as sleep aids for babies, have been found to exceed a crucial incline safety limit of 10 degrees, violating the Safe Sleep for Babies Act and the federal Infant Sleep Products Rule. Infant safety experts stress that the swings create an unsafe sleeping environment, which poses a risk of serious injuries among the most vulnerable group: newborns.

Moreover, the swings fail to feature mandatory warnings associated with the use of button cell and coin batteries, integral parts of the swing's remote control. The CPSC notes that should these batteries be swallowed, they could inflict grave internal burns or result in fatalities.

The seller of these swings, Foshanshipengjianfeiyukejiyouxiangongsi, a company based in China and operating under the name Power Transform, has yet to agree to a recall or provide any remedy. The swings were available for purchase on Amazon from October 2023 to November 2024, priced between $100 to $220, and were sold under the model number
