VideoAmp Collaborates with Family Entertainment Television for Advanced Advertising Measurement

VideoAmp Partners with Family Entertainment Television for Enhanced Advertising Strategy

In an exciting development in the world of media performance, VideoAmp, a prominent media performance platform, has entered into a significant collaboration with Family Entertainment Television, Inc. (FETV), the parent company of popular family-friendly networks. This strategic partnership is aimed at redefining advertising metrics and audience insights as they head into the 2026-27 upfront season.

With the television advertising landscape constantly evolving, this agreement positions VideoAmp as the first alternative currency provider for FETV, which operates networks recognized for their family-oriented programming. These include the flagship Family Entertainment Television channel and Family Movie Classics. The move represents a strong expansion of VideoAmp's influence within independent broadcast, bringing in crucial features like currency-grade measurement and advanced audience insights, further optimizing the content strategy for FETV.

Bryan Goski, Chief Revenue Officer at VideoAmp, commented on the collaboration, stating, "FETV has built an incredibly strong portfolio of networks with highly engaged audiences. By adopting VideoAmp’s measurement and currency capabilities, they are setting a new standard for how independent broadcasters can transact in the competitive market."

FETV has gained substantial growth in both its affiliate and audience base over the last decade, earning it the title of one of America's fastest-growing networks. Meanwhile, Family Movie Classics, launched in 2021, has quickly established a reputation for showcasing highly celebrated family films, including classics such as the 'John Wayne Friday Night Feature.'

The innovative partnership will allow FETV and FMC to utilize VideoAmp's cutting-edge technology and AI-enabled infrastructure, powering their advertising sales and performance measurement capabilities through a variety of advanced features:

1. Cross-platform Audience Measurement: This feature provides a unified analysis of audience reach and frequency across both linear and digital environments, ensuring advertisers can effectively gauge their impact.
2. Currency Guarantees: The agreement includes guarantees for demographic and data-driven linear transactions during both the Upfront and Scatter phases.
3. Full-funnel Outcomes Measurement: This crucial feature allows buyers to measure the sales lift and attribution of their campaigns, offering tangible insights into how advertising drives business results.
4. Content Analytics: By unlocking insights related to national TV viewership, this will help in proving audience value and optimizing strategies further.

Adam Sumrall, Executive Vice President of FETV and FMC, shared insights about the future of television advertising, stating, "We believe the future will heavily rely on data, flexibility, and measurable outcomes. The partnership with VideoAmp serves as an essential leap forward as we enhance our advertising capabilities and open up more opportunities for brands to connect with our dedicated audience."

The announcement comes at a time when the TV advertising landscape is increasingly pivoting towards data-driven practices and outcome-based transactions. VideoAmp has been at the forefront of this change, with their currency adoption skyrocketing from $20 million in 2022 to a projected $6 billion in 2026, supporting over 11 major agency groups and more than 1,600 advertisers in the process.
