WAEPA Expands Membership to Include More Family Members for Life Insurance

WAEPA Expands Associate Membership Eligibility to Include More Federal Family Members

In a significant move to enhance support for families associated with federal service, WAEPA (Worldwide Assurance for Employees of Public Agencies, Inc.) has broadened its Associate Membership eligibility. This allows not only spouses but also eligible adult children, stepchildren, parents, and parents-in-law of current and former Civilian Federal Employees to apply for WAEPA coverage.

Previously, only spouses could access these benefits, but starting now, eligible family members can apply for up to $1.5 million in Group Term Life Insurance. This is a crucial development, reflecting WAEPA's unwavering commitment to the well-being of the federal community.

Members' Benefits

Eligible Associate Members are given more than just life insurance opportunities. They gain access to exclusive member benefits that include:
  • - WAEPA's complimentary financial planning program hosted with EY.
  • - Access to WAEPA's Scholarship Program.
  • - Annual premium refunds for members when awarded.

For over 80 years, WAEPA has dedicated itself to providing life insurance security to the federal workforce and its families. This recent eligibility expansion is a testament to their mission of empowering more federal families with the financial coverage necessary to secure their futures.
