This March, food lovers are in for a treat as the highly anticipated 'Banana Man's Sekkaku Gourmet!! Expo' is set to take place from March 26 to April 7 at the 11th floor event hall of Takashimaya Shinjuku. Organized by Neospace and TBS Groudia, this event is already in its third year and has extended its duration for a full 13 days to cater to fans of gourmet food!

What Awaits You?

With 50 local eateries showcasing their culinary masterpieces, this year’s event welcomes 14 first-time participants. Among these, 19 stalls are making their debut at the Takashimaya venue. A major highlight will be the collaboration with the Kimuraya Sohonten bakery, famous for creating Japan's first anpan (sweet red bean bun). They will be offering limited quantities of the specially crafted “Sekkaku Banana Anpan” (5 pieces) daily!

Visitors can also enjoy a curated ramen section featuring popular noodle dishes sampled by Daymura and his guests on the show. Alongside these iconic dishes, fans can explore scrumptious dipping sauces that elevate the yakiniku experience. A unique photo spot with the beloved Himura Robo offers great opportunities for snapshots, alongside engaging display panels that highlight the charm of the program.

Exclusive show-themed merchandise will also be available, making this expo not only a taste sensation but a full-fledged experience for visitors eager to immerse themselves in the world of Banana Man’s Sekkaku Gourmet!

An exclusive treat will be available only at this event: the Sekkaku Banana Anpan in a custom box for just 1,900 yen (tax included). This limited-time offering showcases Kimuraya Sohonten’s signature blend of flavors, crafted using unique bread dough since 1869—preserving the rich history and culture of Japanese and Western baking.

Additionally, on the sales floor, guests can explore a collection of 13 types of yakiniku sauces and 16 varieties of delivery ramen to satisfy cravings.
