Midea Group Unveils Sustainable Heating Solutions for Europe at ISH 2025

Midea Group Introduces Advanced Heating Solutions at ISH 2025

The Midea Group recently made a significant impact at the ISH 2025 exhibition in Frankfurt, showcasing its advanced and sustainable heating solutions under the banner of "Green Vision, Blue Future." This initiative is part of Midea's ongoing commitment to enhance energy efficiency in heating and cooling systems for homes and buildings across Europe.

As outlined by the European Environment Agency, buildings are key contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for around 34% of energy-related emissions in the EU in 2022. While it is encouraging to note that these emissions have decreased by 34% since 2005, largely due to improvements in heating and cooling systems, there remains a critical need for further development.

Midea is at the forefront of this development, showcasing innovative products that will further reduce energy consumption. One such product is their heating solution utilizing R290, a natural refrigerant. Midea's global efforts have already resulted in a significant reduction of 3.715 million tonnes of CO2, stemming from the sale of 6.2 million R290 devices worldwide. This sustainable approach is embodied in several products tailored for the European market, including the Nature ATW heat pump, H-Pack heat pump, the Vita series water heaters, and the iEasyEnergy solution.

Nature ATW Heat Pump

The Nature ATW R290 heat pump stands out as one of Midea's most advanced devices designed especially for Europe. It meets the highest ERP standard within the EU, achieving an A+++ rating. Its natural refrigerant, R290, boasts a low global warming potential (GWP) of only 3, and a zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). Noteworthy features include its capability to provide water outlet temperatures of up to 80°C and a remarkably low operational sound level of only 30 dB(A), quieter than a conventional refrigerator.

H-Pack Heat Pump

Designed in Italy and improved in Germany, the H-Pack heat pump has received the prestigious German Design Award. Its innovative design allows for complete indoor installation, which simplifies the installation process and lends itself to quick component access for repairs. Additionally, the H-Pack is compatible with smart grid technology and includes a hybrid mode for integrating existing gas boilers, thereby optimizing energy use.

Vita Series Water Heaters

The Vita series water heaters mark a significant shift from purely electrical storage systems to natural energy-based systems. Featuring hybrid models like the Vita R290 and solar options, these heaters support low NOx emissions and promote stable combustion, making them particularly suitable for older buildings, high-rise apartments, and regions at high altitudes.

iEasyEnergy Solution

Midea's iEasyEnergy solution represents a comprehensive approach to managing energy needs. It includes smart and flexible management for air/water heat pumps, energy storage, and photovoltaic modules. This fully integrated system covers everything from design to installation, enabling households to achieve up to 90% energy independence.

Besides these heating solutions, Midea unveiled its latest intelligent air conditioner, Solstice, equipped with advanced AI technology. Its unique 180-degree rotating louver design facilitates a cascading airflow experience, providing immersive heating from feet to head. The enhanced stainless steel chassis heating and case heating band ensure reliable winter performance, while Midea's latest AI algorithms, ECOMASTER AI, can deliver more than 30% additional energy savings.

Midea’s intentions are clear: to offer practical, comfortable, and sustainable solutions to both European households and businesses, propelling the HVAC industry towards smarter and greener advancements.

ISH 2025, recognized as the world’s largest trade fair for HVAC and water industries, emphasizes energy and water-saving solutions under the theme "Solutions for a Sustainable Future." Midea's contributions to this mission will be showcased at Hall 12.0, stand E91.
