This is the fifth installment in a series featuring the insights of Takashi Shinomiya, a practicing lawyer and producer, who will discuss the critical aspects of contracts in the music industry. This particular seminar will mainly focus on contracts concerning master recordings. Participants will learn significant points to consider when interpreting contracts, helping them navigate the complexities of the entertainment business more effectively.

Takashi Shinomiya holds a law degree from Keio University and is the founding attorney at E&R. With experience as a television director, he transitioned into law, focusing on legal advisory for film, music, and advertising projects. He is also involved with the Creative Guardian Co., which supports screenwriters and directors, and engages in advocacy for improving labor practices within the film industry through the non-profit organization
action4cinema.
