CareSource Employees Raise $75,000 for The Children's Cabinet
In a remarkable display of community spirit, CareSource employees have collectively raised an impressive $75,000 for The Children's Cabinet of Nevada. This significant donation is a key highlight of CareSource's 2026 Workplace Giving campaign, which is facilitated through the CareSource Foundation. The initiative allows employees to contribute to nonprofit organizations that tackle pressing health and social issues within the communities that CareSource supports.
This year, the Workplace Giving campaign particularly focuses on addressing the mental health crisis that many communities across the nation are grappling with. Jayme Puu, CEO of CareSource Nevada, expressed the collective sentiment, stating,
"Through our 'Together We Give, Together We Impact' campaign, CareSource employees came together to support The Children's Cabinet and the important work it does for children and families across Nevada. Our team genuinely cares about the communities we serve, and this initiative is an impactful way for them to contribute."
The Children's Cabinet has been operational since 1985, with a mission geared towards safeguarding children and ensuring families remain united throughout Nevada. The organization offers an array of community programs, including parenting education, childcare assistance, free family counseling, wraparound case management, and crisis intervention.
Kim Young, CEO of The Children's Cabinet, expressed her gratitude towards CareSource employees, saying, "We are incredibly grateful to CareSource employees for choosing to support The Children's Cabinet through their Workplace Giving campaign. This generous contribution will strengthen our programs and services, helping us further our mission to keep children safe and families together."
The 2026 Workplace Giving campaign doesn’t stop with The Children's Cabinet; it will also benefit other organizations such as Integrated Services for Behavioral Health based in Ohio and Advocates based in Massachusetts. The integration of these various nonprofits ensures a broader impact across different communities.
