Final Week of the Franklin County Festival of Trees 2025
As the year draws to a close, the enchanting
Franklin County Festival of Trees 2025 invites visitors to experience a delightful winter wonderland. Taking place from
December 4 to December 6 at the
Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, this annual event showcases an impressive array of creatively decorated trees and wreaths, each available for silent auction, with proceeds supporting the
Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA).
The festive atmosphere is palpable, with
holiday cheer in the air and twinkling lights illuminating the beautifully adorned trees. Visitors will find unique themes, from whimsical candy decorations to elegant masking and patriotic displays. Some remarkable innovations include cactus trees, upside-down trees, and creatively themed musical trees, highlighting the creativity of this year's decorators. Notably, approximately
40% of the decorators are participating for the first time in 2025, bringing fresh ideas and unique artistic touches to the event.
Among the returning decorators is the
King Street Church Pottery Studio Ministry, known for its handcrafted pottery ornaments. Last year, their tree earned a record bid, and this year, they return with even more creativity, showcasing the heart and dedication of their pottery class. The
Certified Tourism Ambassador tree, featuring a luxurious dark chocolate design and a woodsy theme, is currently leading the bids for trees in the silent auction. Additionally, the wreath with the highest bid is the exquisite Capitol Theatre wreath, maintaining its lead in the wreath category as well.
