Jamie Bertasi Takes the Helm as President at Appdome, Aiming for Global Growth

Appdome Appoints Jamie Bertasi as President

In a significant leadership move, Appdome has promoted Jamie Bertasi to the position of President, tasked with spearheading the company's global go-to-market and customer engagement strategies. This decision is poised to enhance the company's presence in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape and cater effectively to the increasing demands of mobile brand protection.

Appdome, known for its agentic platform focused on protecting mobile brands, announced this transition on October 21, 2026. Prior to this, Bertasi served as the Chief Customer Officer, where she played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and customer success initiatives. During her tenure, Appdome witnessed remarkable growth, establishing new standards for customer engagement and operational excellence.

Tom Tovar, Appdome's Co-Creator and CEO, expressed confidence in Bertasi’s leadership. He noted that “as the AI tailwinds increasingly fill our sails,” Appdome is setting records across various metrics, including the number of successful builds and mobile apps protected. Tovar emphasized the vast opportunities that lie ahead for the company under Bertasi’s guidance.

Bertasi’s experience in customer success automation is vast, having spent six years previously as the President and COO of Totango. Her career also boasts significant achievements at Microsoft, where she managed the SaaS Speech Solutions division, driving it to an impressive $200 million in revenue. Her diverse background includes critical roles focusing on sales and strategy at Narrative, Homesuite, and IBM.

In her new capacity, Bertasi will continue to report directly to Tovar, collaborating closely with other key executives, including Avi Yehuda, CTO, and Chris Roeckl, Chief Customer Officer. This leadership restructuring aims to streamline efforts across global go-to-market functions, which now encompass sales, marketing, and partnerships, ensuring a cohesive approach to business development and customer interaction.

Bertasi remarked, “The agentic age is just getting started, and I’m fully energized by Appdome’s role in this new market and technological future. Global brands need to deliver end-to-end mobile app security and fraud prevention at scale and speed.” Her statement highlights the necessity for brands to evolve and adapt to the changing landscape of cybersecurity threats.

The appointment of Bertasi also aligns with Appdome's broader strategy to enhance its global business capabilities and promoting an agentic transformation in the mobile cybersecurity domain. Under her leadership, Appdome aims to unify its sales and customer engagement efforts to meet the accelerating demands of a market driven by AI and data security.

Avi Yehuda echoed the sentiments regarding Bertasi’s role, stating that understanding the evolving work of cybersecurity is crucial in maintaining pace with AI-driven threats. He stressed the importance of platforms that offer machine-speed protections, further affirming Bertasi’s capacity to drive go-to-market strategies that connect customers with the support they need.

As Appdome continues to innovate and enhance its security measures against fraud and bot attacks in mobile applications, Bertasi's leadership will be vital in navigating these challenges. Her commitment to delivering swift and impactful solutions is anticipated to reinforce Appdome’s position as a leader in mobile security solutions.
