The IELAB Group is thrilled to announce its participation in the highly anticipated POP UP CAMPUS 2025, which will take place on August 2, 2025, at the iU Information Management and Innovation Professional University in Sumida. This event serves as a unique opportunity for university students to engage in workshops that are not only informative but also interactive, helping them to envision their future career paths.

What is POP UP CAMPUS?

POP UP CAMPUS transforms a traditional university campus into a lively career experience theme park for a single day. This festival-like environment allows students to explore a variety of professions while enjoying the process. One of the standout features of this event is the collaboration between participating companies and student ambassadors. Over a span of four months starting in April 2025, they will co-create a 90-minute workshop that aims to provide insights into various career opportunities and industries.

The goal is to foster mutual understanding between businesses and students while addressing the common employment mismatches often faced during job hunting.

Background of the Event

In recent years, while many companies have engaged in early-stage internship programs, the experiences offered often lack depth and creativity, leading to students having limited interaction with the real-life aspects of potential careers. Consequently, a significant number of university students find themselves uncertain about their career preferences when they enter the job market. This apparent disconnect creates challenges, resulting in job mismatches post-employment.

Recognizing this pressing societal issue, CourseVALU—a venture based in Waseda University—has developed POP UP CAMPUS 2025 with a focus on learning and exposure to diverse career paths. Following a successful inaugural event at Waseda University in November 2024, this second edition is set to enhance the career exploration experience for students.
