Get ready for a delightful journey into the whimsical world of Usamaru as Matsuya Ginza prepares to host its first-ever exhibition from November 26 to December 9, 2025. Organized by LINE Friends Japan, a company renowned for its global character brand LINE FRIENDS, this exhibition promises to be a fun-filled experience for fans of all ages.

What is Usamaru?

Usamaru made its debut as a LINE sticker on August 6, 2014, and quickly captured the hearts of many. In 2016, it became the first character to be inducted into the 'LINE Creators Stamp AWARD' hall of fame, further cementing its popularity by winning the MVP category in the 2021 edition of the same award. Apart from stickers, Usamaru has collaborated on various merchandise with companies, and its presence has extended into television shows, magazines, books, and cafés.

Exhibition Highlights

The Usamaru exhibition will offer a fully immersive experience into Usamaru's universe. Under the supervision of the creator, Sakumaru, visitors can look forward to exclusive original illustrations, three-dimensional installations, and dedicated photo spots designed for memorable snapshots. A variety of original merchandise will also be available for fans to take home.

- Opening Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Please note that on November 30 and December 7, the closing time will be at 7:30 PM, and on the last day, it will close at 5 PM. The last admission will be 30 minutes before closing.

Ticket Information

Tickets will be available for purchase starting from October 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM via Lawson Ticket. The pricing is as follows:

- General Admission: ¥1,300 (¥1,100 in advance)
- High School Students: ¥1,000 (¥900 in advance)
- Middle School Students: ¥800 (¥700 in advance)
- Elementary School Students: ¥600 (¥500 in advance)
- Goods Ticket: ¥3,100 (¥2,900 in advance)

Children under school age can enter for free, but must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older). One adult may accompany up to two children.

Special Greeting Events

There will also be a special Usamaru greeting event on November 29, 30, December 6, and 7, with sessions at 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM. Note: Registration for the greeting events has closed.

Merchandise Lineup

Usamaru fans can look forward to a unique collection of original goods, featuring illustrations of Usamaru dressed up in adorable outfits, and charming treasure chests that hold the character's precious possessions. Each item is inspired by specially created artworks for this exhibition.

Visitor Benefits

- As a special gift, visitors will receive a random letter from Usamaru (six designs available).
- For every purchase of ¥3,000 or more, attendees will receive a limited edition Usamaru card while supplies last.
- For purchases of ¥10,000 or more, a reusable bag with an original design will be given.
