Coregenic Launches Investment Crowdfunding on FUNDINNO with Innovative Ticketing Solution

Coregenic Launches Investment Crowdfunding on FUNDINNO

Coregenic (headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, CEO Tsutomu Kuroda) has announced the initiation of investment crowdfunding through FUNDINNO, starting on May 7, 2025. This initiative aims to address the growing challenges associated with electronic ticketing systems, particularly those using QR codes.

Project Overview

Addressing Event Ticketing Challenges

Recent years have seen the extensive use of QR codes for electronic tickets in event management. However, the existing technology struggles to effectively prevent unlawful resale of tickets and often leads to long queues at entrance gates. Traditional electronic ticketing requires attendees to display a static QR code from their smartphones, which can easily be shared through screenshots and is often a source of entry delays due to technical issues and user errors.

To counteract these issues, Coregenic is introducing the Grigora Pass, a unique system that allows event organizers to display QR codes on screens that participants can scan with their smartphones to temporarily authenticate their tickets. With codes that refresh every 30 to 60 seconds, attendees must present their own devices at the venue, thereby raising the barriers for ticket resellers.

Simplifying Entry Processes

The Grigora Pass addresses various troubles associated with QR code scanning. Attendees no longer need to search for the correct code or deal with the complicated process of displaying it on their screens. Instead, the check-in process is streamlined to a single action: scanning a QR code displayed on a screen at the venue. This innovation not only expedites the entry but also allows for visual confirmation by the staff, enhancing the overall user experience.

Coregenic plans to market this patented technology as a software license. Additionally, Atsumaroqqa, an electronic ticket sales system, will soon be released as a SaaS model with a freemium business structure, providing the Grigora Pass among its essential features at no initial cost. A beta version is slated for launch in June 2025.

Future Development Plans

Long-term, Coregenic envisions evolving Atsumaroqqa from a simple ticketing tool into an integrated platform enhancing the overall event experience. Future implementations are set to include functionalities that cater to both organizers and attendees, such as cancellation policies, official resale options, and support for fan club management.

Patent Application Details

On March 11, 2025, Coregenic submitted a patent application concerning an information processing system and method for displaying optically readable objects (Patent No. 2025-038245). This innovation allows for the simultaneous display of two QR codes that alternate at set intervals, each having different validity periods. Event organizers using this system will enhance security and streamline the entry process significantly.

Event participants will scan either of the QR codes displayed on screens, allowing access to their tickets via a simple browser visit on their smartphones. The design of the QRs fundamentally reflects their remaining time, prompting attendees to scan the code with greater time allowance for check-in.
