A unique collaboration cafe, 'BONO BONO - shiMATCHAcafe', is set to launch in Harajuku, Tokyo, brought to you by Anique Co., Ltd. The event celebrates two significant anniversaries: 40 years of the beloved manga series Bono Bono and 10 years of its anime adaptation. This exciting collaboration cafe will run from August 28 to September 6, 2026, at the stylish shiMATCHAcafe in the Harakado complex.

As fans can expect, the cafe will be themed around Bono Bono, showcasing the iconic character alongside various delightful treats. The atmosphere will be enriched by the charm of 'Shimachau Ojisan,' the character known for his humorous take on saving uneaten food. Guests can indulge in rich matcha drinks and crunchy fried bread (agepan), all inspired by the whimsical universe of Bono Bono. However, diners are warned to finish their food promptly; otherwise, they may risk it being 'put away' by the comedic character!

In addition to the delicious food, exclusive merchandise featuring newly illustrated artwork of Bono Bono and friends engaging in café activities will be available. These collectibles can be purchased at both the Harajuku location and the Anique Shop online starting from the event's opening day.
