Red Bull LEGENDUS STREET FIGHTER 6: An Epic Showdown Coming Soon

Red Bull Japan has partnered with GANYMEDE Inc. and popular streamer SHAKA to bring you the highly anticipated Red Bull LEGENDUS STREET FIGHTER 6 tournament. This exhilarating offline event will take place on June 28th and 29th at Tokyo Gymnasium in Shibuya, featuring a thrilling open tournament where both professional streamers and general players can participate. A total of 25 skilled streamers have already been confirmed to join the event, and they will compete alongside other passionate players.

The LEGENDUS project was launched in May 2024 under the motto of 'doing what SHAKA wants to do'. Previously, the project held events for various titles such as Left 4 Dead 2, Rocket League, and Delta Force, but the most successful has undoubtedly been STREET FIGHTER 6. The success of this tournament is reflected in March's Red Bull LEGENDUS STREET FIGHTER 6 Best Dojo Championship, which garnered significant attention with peak viewership reaching approximately 150,000 on Day 1 and around 135,000 on Day 2.

Event Format

Day 1

The first day will see an open tournament with 1,024 participants (comprised of general applicants and a few invited players). Contestants will choose their preferred character from 25 available characters as of the last game update, including the latest addition, Mai, and compete in a double-elimination format. From this competition, the top 16 players representing the best performers of each character will secure advancement to Day 2.

Day 2

On the second day, the 16 qualifying general players will team up with 16 streamer representatives to form pairs, competing against each other in search of the coveted title. This collaboration promises to deliver unmatched excitement and intense gameplay.

Participation and Tickets

Who knows, the next extraordinary talent might emerge from this event! Red Bull players, like Bonchan and Gachikun, came to global prominence after participating in Red Bull events before turning pro.

Tickets for the official second-round pre-sales are available until May 21st, 23:59. Don’t miss this chance to witness the fierce battles of streamers and aspiring pro players at the Tokyo Gymnasium! All attendees will receive a special Red Bull LEGENDUS muffler towel.
