Sermatec and Foxconn Industrial Internet Collaborate for a Sustainable Future

In a groundbreaking achievement for sustainable energy, Sermatec, a frontrunner in renewable energy solutions, has successfully launched energy storage projects Jiyuan and Lankao in collaboration with Foxconn Industrial Internet. These projects represent a pivotal step in the development of large-scale commercial and industrial energy storage capabilities in Henan province, China.

Key Milestones

The Jiyuan project boasts a capacity of 5.9 MW with a total storage of 11.9 MWh, while the Lankao installation features 7.8 MW capacity and 15.63 MWh storage. Notably, these are the first of their kind in the Jiyuan and Lankao regions, providing a significant reference point for the green energy transition across Henan and central China. The successful integration of these systems addresses the critical gap in large-scale commercial and industrial energy storage applications in the area.

Rapid Deployment and Integration

Sermatec's rapid deployment and integration of these energy storage systems demonstrate their project execution excellence. The Jiyuan energy storage system was fully installed by April 20, 2025, and connected to the grid just five days later. Similarly, the Lankao project completed its installation on May 31, 2025, and was successfully integrated into the grid by June 10, 2025. This remarkable speed is attributed to the company's reliable technology, effective teamwork, and an deep understanding of customer needs.
