Celebrating Military Appreciation Month: SeaWorld Offers Free Admission for Veterans and Their Families

SeaWorld's Commitment to Honoring Our Heroes

In a heartfelt initiative, SeaWorld parks are celebrating Military Appreciation Month by offering complimentary one-day admission to U.S. military veterans and their guests. This extensive program, known as the Waves of Honor, allows veterans and up to three friends or family members to enjoy the park free of charge.

Starting from now until May 11, eligible veterans can register for this unique opportunity, with their tickets valid until July 6. Active-duty military personnel also benefit from this program, enjoying free admission any time throughout the year. For over two decades, SeaWorld has proudly supported this initiative, totaling over 10 million complimentary admissions granted to active-duty members, veterans, and their families.

Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks Resorts, expresses gratitude: “We are proud to honor active-duty military, veterans, and their families with a complimentary visit to one of our parks. This is just a small token of our appreciation for their service.” The Waves of Honor program highlights SeaWorld's commitment to providing military families with unforgettable experiences, whether engaging with wildlife or thrilling rides and attractions.

Veterans can easily register for their complimentary tickets by visiting WavesofHonor.com before the deadline. Each ticket must be redeemed by July 6, providing ample time for a fun and leisurely visit to any participating SeaWorld park. All participants must present a valid military ID, making this initiative accessible and convenient.

Moreover, active-duty military members can avail one free admission for themselves and their dependents annually, along with additional discounts introduced by MWR and ITT offices at military bases.

SeaWorld parks, known for their dedication to marine life and animal conservation, continually strive to provide educational, as well as fun-filled experiences for all guests. They are home to unparalleled animal encounters, enriching educational programs, and stimulating marine-themed rides.

In just over 60 years, SeaWorld has further solidified its position as a leading advocate for marine life conservation, having rescued more than 40,000 animals and contributed over $20 million globally through the SeaWorld Conservation Fund.

The parks, located in cities like Orlando, San Antonio, San Diego, and Abu Dhabi, strive to inspire every visitor while engaging them in marine life conservation efforts. For many military families, SeaWorld's parks prove to be a much-cherished location, a place where they can relax, bond, and create lasting memories amidst the splashes of water and the joy of animal encounters.

The senior leadership team at SeaWorld believes that this program significantly contributes towards recognizing the sacrifices of military families. They encourage military members, veterans, and their families to seize this opportunity and enjoy a day filled with excitement and appreciation.

In offering free entry to those who serve our country, SeaWorld reflects its premier position in the entertainment sector, intertwining fun with notable public gratitude and acknowledgment of the military's sacrifices. This initiative not only showcases SeaWorld’s dedication to honoring veterans but also emphasizes their commitment to family-friendly experiences and community appreciation.

As the Military Appreciation Month unfolds, SeaWorld maintains its pledge to create memorable experiences for all its visitors, particularly those who have served to protect our freedoms and rights. Let’s raise a toast to our heroes and take this chance to visit SeaWorld for a day of adventure, connection, and gratitude.
