In a significant shift for the company, Titan Frozen Fruit has named Tom Byrne as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This decision follows the transition of Jon Larsen, the founding CEO, to the position of Chairman. The announcement was made on August 5, 2025, marking a pivotal moment for this market-leading food ingredient manufacturer and fruit processor.

Tom Byrne, who previously held the position of President at Titan, is stepping up to lead the company as CEO. His appointment has been met with enthusiasm by key stakeholders, particularly Dan O'Connell, Founder and CEO of Vestar Capital Partners, which is a significant investor in Titan. O'Connell expressed confidence in Byrne's leadership capabilities, citing his impactful contributions during his tenure at Titan, which began just two years ago.

Jon Larsen, the company’s founding CEO, played an instrumental role in shaping Titan's vision and operations since its inception in 2013. His move to Chairman allows him to continue influencing the company while paving the way for Byrne to drive the next phase of growth. O'Connell emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership as Titan seeks to innovate and expand its range of products.

Tom Byrne's Expertise



Bringing over 30 years of experience in the fresh and frozen food manufacturing and packaging sectors, Tom Byrne is well-equipped for this role. Prior to joining Titan, he served in various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President at Golden West Packaging Group, and President of Growers Express. His extensive background positions him to lead transformative initiatives at Titan.

Byrne earned a bachelor's degree in business management from the prestigious University of Notre Dame. His educational foundation, paired with hands-on experience, equips him with a unique perspective on strategic growth and operational excellence.

In his new position, Byrne stated, “Titan has a world-class team, and I’m honored to lead the Company as we execute on our strategic plans.” He highlighted the new 136,500 square foot state-of-the-art processing facility, signifying Titan’s commitment to quality production and customer satisfaction. This facility represents a crucial investment in meeting the evolving needs of their clientele, including food and beverage manufacturers, fast food chains, and retail markets.
