The Results of the 2025 Pet Photo Contest

On October 15, iPet Insurance Company, based in Koto City, Tokyo, announced the results of its popular "Our Pet Photo Contest 2025." During the submission period from July 23 to August 25, a staggering 63,769 entries were received, and 144 of them were chosen as calendar models for the iPet Insurance 2026 Official Calendar. The selected entries include 72 photographs each from the categories of dogs and cats as well as exotic animals.



The contest, which has been held annually since 2015, provided an opportunity for pet owners to showcase the moments shared with their furry companions. This year, four themes were established for dogs and cats and two for exotic animals, with entries reflecting the love and bond between pets and their owners.

One of the seasonal themes, "Memories of Every Season," featured vibrant photos of pets in various seasonal events and floral settings. There were many adventurous shots of dogs enjoying winter snow activities or summer outings by the riverside or pool, showcasing their playful nature alongside their owners. For cats and exotic animals, creativity shone through with seasonal accessories and outfits.

Selection Results

From the 63,769 submissions, 72 winning candidates were selected in the Dogs and Cats Category as Calendar Model Awards, and special prizes were awarded within each theme. In the Exotic Animals Category, another 72 entries received the same award, and extra special prizes were distributed based on the themes. Additionally, among those who just missed being selected, 30 entries were randomly chosen for the Happiness Memory Award. Notably, 6 entries were selected from the Instagram submission campaign.

Dogs and Cats Category

- Theme 1: “Everyday Life with Our Pets” (1 winner each for dogs and cats) - A ¥10,000 shopping coupon from Marui Web Channel.
- Theme 2: “Memories of Every Season” (1 winner each for dogs: a pet cart, and cats: high-quality fish toppings).
- Theme 3: “Forever Friends” (1 winner each for dogs: a weekday accommodation voucher for two at Litna Hakone, and cats: a large size scratching cat house).
- Theme 4: “Secret Expressions of Our Pets” (1 winner each for dogs: a Soleil pet sofa in dark brown, and cats: a lunch tote with photo embroidery).

Exotic Animals Category

• - Special Prizes

- Theme 1: “Everyday Life with Our Pets” (2 winners) - A ¥10,000 shopping coupon from Marui Web Channel.
- Theme 2: “Memories of Every Season” (2 winners) - A lunch tote designed with photo embroidery.

All Categories Common Awards

• - Happiness Memory Award (30 recipients)

- A glass photo frame featuring Disney character designs.

• - Instagram Campaign Winners (6 recipients)

- A 7-inch digital photo frame (in white).
