Significant New Uranium Deposits Found Near Alta Mesa Recovery Project

Major Uranium Discoveries Near Alta Mesa

In a significant development for the uranium industry, enCore Energy Corp., recognized as America's Clean Energy Company™, has announced the discovery of new uranium mineralized roll fronts adjacent to existing wellfields at its Alta Mesa In-Situ Recovery (ISR) Uranium Project. This news comes after an intensive re-analysis of thousands of historic drill holes that began in April 2025, aiming to improve understanding of the site’s potential.

The re-evaluation has uncovered mineralized roll fronts in at least three new areas, with follow-up drilling initiated to delineate these resources further. One notable find has advanced to the permitting phase and is now referred to as the Wellfield 3 Extension. Meanwhile, discoveries in Wellfield 4 have revealed two new roll fronts over 2500 feet long, lying just above previously mined areas. This is remarkable because this newly identified mineralization is found at depths of only 320 to 345 feet — approximately 200 feet higher than the depths of previously extracted rolls. This shallow depth enhances the efficiency of future extraction processes, reducing drilling time, material costs, and overall project expenses.

As drilling continues, enCore is optimistic that the new discoveries will bolster production capabilities at the Alta Mesa project. Planned operations include further delineation drilling into 2026 and the launch of a major drilling program at the recently acquired Alta Mesa East Property, which is believed to have extensions of the roll front mineralization from existing wellfields. These advancements reinforce enCore’s commitment to extracting valuable uranium through environmentally responsible methods.

Detailed historical drill data reveal various findings within the Goliad Sandstone horizon, showcasing significant uranium grades and thicknesses. For example, current and historical drill holes have exhibited U3O8 grades, confirming the economic viability of the discovery. In addition to these promising new mineralized areas, the well-established operational framework of the Alta Mesa CPP (Central Processing Plant) supports increased production efforts. This facility currently operates under a 70/30 joint venture with Boss Energy Limited, maximizing output capabilities.

The Alta Mesa Uranium Project covers over 200,000 acres and employs well-known ISR technology, allowing for non-invasive extraction of uranium by circulating oxygenated water underground. With total operating capacity reaching 1.5 million pounds per year and additional capacity for drying, there is significant potential for growth as expansion continues.

As enCore Energy navigates its path forward, the company remains dedicated to supporting local communities through responsible corporate practices and maintaining transparency regarding new developments. This latest discovery is poised to enhance enCore's strategic position in the uranium market while fulfilling a critical need for clean energy sources.

For investors and stakeholders, the ongoing drilling program and advancements at the Alta Mesa ISR project underscore enCore's strategic approach to uranium production and positions it favorably in a competitive landscape.
